Men’s cologne is an equally as popular fragrance as women’s perfume. Nowadays, men care about their appearance as much as women and will purchase the latest designer cologne on the market.

The perfume industry is on fairly equal footing and will advertise both cologne and perfume to the public. Designer colognes are viewed, as a prestige and good quality scent, therefore are the most commonly purchased.

There are many types of designer cologne men can purchase but men will tend to stick to the same scent once they find one they like. Here is a list of the most popular cologne men like and tend to buy.

1-    Hugo Boss. This fashion house based in Germany has manufactured hundreds of perfume fragrances and has become a widely recognised men’s cologne. Hugo Boss created their top selling cologne in 1985. No surprises here but this designer cologne is called HUGO BOSS.

2-    Acqua Di Gio is another top selling cologne. This one designed by Giorgio Armani was launched in 1995 and is classified as a refreshing, floral fragrance.

3-    Ed Hardy cologne is also becoming quite popular for men to purchase. This fragrance created by designer Christian Audigier reflects fruit zesty smells. This cologne is different as it is a sweet smell rather than the hard, strong smell like Hugo boss.
