Natural perfume is an easy product to make if you have a bit of time and patience. Making your own perfume can be fun, and you may even create your own unique scent. Just follow these steps and you will soon have your own natural perfume to wear daily.

1- For a floral scent squeeze flower petals into a container to drain the oil. This will now become your base oil and will give you the strongest scent for tour perfume.
2- To the flower oil you need to add organic extracts. Add them one to two drops at a time until you reach the smell you desire.
3- Test this combination on your skin to ensure you aren’t allergic to the natural ingredients.
4- Add some oil and one part dried herb or flowers, depending on the scent you want. Many people choose lavender oil to add, as it is a sweet combination of the two. Olive oil is another oil added, but it is quite scent neutral.
5- Leave this oil, herb, flower combination in the container for a few months but you must shake it on a daily basis.
6- Make sure you keep the herbs and flowers clean and dirt free and ensure the container is in the direct light.
7- After you have let the combination dry a little it is time to test your natural perfume. You can add extra floral leaves if the scent isn’t as strong as you would like.
8- If the smell is what you want then you can put it in a spray bottle and the perfume making process is complete.

The oils used in the base note are usually vanilla, ferns and sandalwood.

2- The middle note is a combination of lemongrass and ylang ylang. These oils are mixed together and are not as strong as the base note.

3- Top note: the top note have perfume oils orchid, lime, rose, lavender and lemon and are the key oils to ensure the perfume smells strong. All of these essential oils are added to make the combination of perfume. You couldn’t have a nice scent without combining all of them.

There are so many perfume brands on the market but it is usually the same perfume brands that we come to recognise in perfume stores throughout the world. But what is it about brand name perfume that causes everyone to purchase?

Usually brand name perfume will be of high quality and the scent will stay true for a longer duration than cheaper, alternative versions. Perfume brands can be created by designers, fashion label designers and even celebrities. This “branded” perfume is, on most occasions made with special oils and good quality ingredients, leaving a longer lasting impression on your skin.

Each perfume brand will have a different approach in design and composure of the fragrance. For most good quality brands it would have taken them years to come up with the particular scent.
